Have fun creating your very own mobile artwork in a workshop co-facilitated by artist, Lincoln Austin, and artist assistant Chelsea Jewell, inspired by the opening of Lincoln Austin: The Weight of Experience.

  • suitable for all ages, children under ten need to be accompanied by a paying adult
  • no prior experience required
  • all materials provided

This workshop offers a memorable, hands-on introduction to the intersection of art and engineering for all ages. Using familiar materials, participants will be guided through creative exploration and play-based learning about concepts that are important parts of Lincoln Austin's artistic practice such as colour-coding, light and shadow, balance, tension, suspension, movement and structure.
