This workshop is an opportunity to follow a simple hat hanger or pot hanger design step by step or complete your own original idea. You will be guided through a selection of foundational knots and techniques that can be used exclusively on their own or manipulated for more complex designs.

You will have access to classic cotton coloured cord for more traditional designs or brightly coloured greens, reds and purples to highlight the details of patterns in your design.

All materials provided.

About the Artist Educator

Amelia is a local artist and artist educator with a particular passion for sculpture. Amelia’s motivation for workshops is grounded in a passion for guiding learners to be intuitive in their own art practice. The necessity to upskill and understand the possibilities of new mediums and materials has informed Amelia’s own art practice.

Amelia focuses largely on designing, building, and incorporating practical solutions with decorative embellishments in her home, garden, and workshop. Equally fulfilling to Amelia, is the opportunity to share her knowledge and learn from the unique approaches and personal aesthetics of others.
