Join Adam Ford, Assistant Curator - Indigenous Australian Art at Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, for an exhibition talk exploring I, Object, a touring exhibition from QAGOMA.
I, Object considers the many complex relationships Indigenous artists continue to have with objects – from the histories informing their creation to the social and cultural consequences of their collection. The exhibition features contemporary painting, sculpture, and installation by leading Queensland artists Vernon Ah Kee, Tony Albert, Michael Boiyool Anning, Fiona Foley, Danie Mellor, Christian Thompson, Warraba Weatherall and others alongside historical shields, boomerangs and clubs.

Ticket options: Tickets for this program are free, but we have introduced the option to purchase a contribution ticket at $5.00 or $10.00 for those who have capacity and wish to help cover costs of organising these programs. If you select a contribution ticket, there's no need to also select an admission ticket (selecting both will reserve two places).
