Overview
RMOA is seeking expressions of interest from artists and educators who would like to contribute to the development of learning resources and experiences in support of upcoming exhibition, Commissioning Collective: Sally Smart.
We are looking for people with a passion for working collaboratively to co-design exciting, experimental, cross-disciplinary, creative and accessible learning resources and experiences that meet the specific needs of diverse audiences.
Who should apply?
You do not need to be a classroom teacher - we encourage anyone with a passion for working collaboratively in arts and education across any setting, formal or informal, to apply. Artists and educators from Central Queensland at all career stages, from beginner through to highly accomplished, are encouraged to apply.
We are especially interested in hearing from people with experience:
- as an educator and/or practitioner across a range of creative disciplines including visual art, dance, drama, music, performance, fashion, textiles, writing
- creating and delivering learning experiences that meet the needs of particular audiences including early years, primary, secondary, tertiary, flexible learning, special schools, First Nations, distance education, EAL/D, CALD, people with disability, older audiences, LGBTQIAP+ people.
Availability
- Development period for learning resources and experiences is late February - early August 2025
- The ability to visit RMOA in person is helpful but not essential
- Contribute in a way that suits your availability and interests: initial research and development, writing and designing, or reviewing and providing feedback
