Artists in Residence Melissa Mills, Ainslie McMahon and Jodie van de Wetering will select artworks from RMOA’s nationally significant collection to study during their four-week residencies in the Margaret Olley Art Trust Collection Study Room at Rockhampton Museum of Art. The residencies are designed to provide artists with time and space to develop new directions in their practice and build new audiences, while being paid, and with the support of a range of staff across RMOA’s teams.
Learn more about the artists in residence through public programs including artist talks and open studios.
STIM is a project specifically for neurodivergent people, facilitated by artist educator, Melissa Peacock, at RMOA.
RMOA's 2024 Artist in Residence program is generously supported in partnership with Haymans Electrical.
