Central Queensland-based artist Easton Dunne’s breakthrough works on paper and sculptural installations express the unique experiences, frustrations and joys of living Queer in regional Australia. Symbols, colours, shapes and turns of phrase that will be familiar to many people who live rurally and regionally are deconstructed and put together again in quick-witted and Queer-coded contexts.
